35.05.060 Fishing

(a) Permits

(1) Any Non-member who fishes or intends to fish shall first purchase a Fishing Permit and shall comply with this Code and the Non-member Regulations issued by the Department.

(2) No fishing Permit is required for any person under fourteen (14) years of age that is accompanied by an adult fishing permit holder or tribal member.

(3) Fishing Permits shall not be required for Members.

(b) Bait

There will be no restrictions on bait unless otherwise specified by the Department.

(c) Fish may be taken by angling only unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Department.

(d) Use of nets, of any type, to trap fish is prohibited.

(e) Gaffing is legal for members only during time period set by the Department.

(f) Violation of this section shall be a Class Two Civil Offense. In addition, the violator shall be liable for Liquidated Damages.
