(a) No person shall operate a motor vehicle on the roadways within the jurisdiction of the Turtle Mountain Tribal Court unless such vehicle is in safe condition and complies with registration laws of the Turtle Mountain Tribe and/or State of North Dakota. (b) Any person convicted of violating this section shall be sentenced to a fine not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150).Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
