The use of seat belts in passenger vehicles shall be a requirement and all vehicle occupants over the age seven (7) must have a safety belt properly fastened about his/her body at all times when the vehicle is in motion. Violators of this section are subject to a civil assessment fee of $25 first offense; $35 second offense, and $50 third offense.Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Tribal Code.
