38.01.490 Operating a Motor Vehicle with Passenger(s) in Uncovered Pick-up Boxes

(a) It is unlawful for any operator to operate a motor vehicle with passenger(s) in uncovered pick-up boxes in case of a vehicular accident or covered with toppers due to the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning.

(b) Any person who violates this section will be penalized a minimum fine of

$25 or maximum fine of $100 with a minimum of one (1) day jail or maximum thirty (30) days in jail.
