NARF is dedicated to supporting the next generation of Indian law lawyers and one way we do this is through our Law Clerk Program. This week we’re highlighting Megan Horning, a law clerk in NARF’s Washington, D.C., office.
Megan is entering her third year at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she serves as Co-Student Editor-in-Chief of the Tribal Law Journal and is pursuing an Indian Law Certificate. Last summer, Megan interned at DNA Peoples Legal Services on the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley, Utah. Before entering law school, Megan taught middle school mathematics and history on the Navajo Nation and guided rafting trips through the Grand Canyon. Megan grew up in Page, Arizona, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Ethnic Studies (minor) from Willamette University.
