It is with great sadness the Native American Rights Fund reports the passing of the artist, American Indian Movement warrior, and longtime NARF friend and supporter, Billy “War Soldier” Soza (Cahuilla/Apache) on January 18, 2014. Mr. Soza was a longtime friend of NARF’s staff as well as a generous supporter of NARF’s work on behalf of Indian people, and he would always attend and donate art.
