Today, as we celebrate the spirit of generosity, we are launching a month-long campaign to highlight our work to protect what sustains us as Native people: things like water, land, and Indigenous lifeways. At the Native American Rights Fund (NARF), our mission is rooted in defending Tribal sovereignty — and protecting the things that cannot be replaced.
NARF provides legal support to Tribal Nations and Native people in communities, courtrooms, and policy arenas across the nation. Our work includes:
- Water Rights: Advocating for Tribal access to clean, reliable water through negotiated settlements, litigation, and policy reform.
- Land Protection: Defending sacred places, protecting homelands, and asserting treaty rights and Tribal jurisdiction.
- Cultural and Religious Freedoms: Protecting the use of eagle feathers and rights of Native inmates.
These efforts are not just legal battles — they are fights for survival, sovereignty, and future generations. Your support helps us continue this work.
