One of the Native American Rights Fund’s five priorities is to protect Tribal natural resources which includes land, water, and the environment.

To align with this commitment, the NARF workplace focuses on the following green initiatives:

Text: Every day is Earth Day. With NARF feather and drawing of the globe.

Ensure responsible and mindful energy use.

NARF moved into the current Boulder office in 2023, which was renovated extensively with modern efficiencies in mind. Updates include new solar panels, new and replaced heat pumps, efficient LED lighting, and upgraded weather stripping and window film.

NARF employees are encouraged to explore alternative transportation options to reduce emissions. All Boulder and DC NARF employees are eligible for a free transit pass, and hybrid work schedules allow flexibility to avoid commuting when feasible.

Conserve water.

Water is our most precious resource. High-efficiency water equipment and a quality water filtration system minimize waste and encourage the  use of reusable bottles and drinkware.

Reduce waste production.

Recycling and composting are available on site where possible.
