Autumn Shone is a Navajo student entering her third year of law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. At ASU, Autumn is participating in the Indian Legal Program. Last school year, she served as the American Indian Council Representative for ASU’s Native American Law Student Association (NALSA) and worked as the Diversity Legal Writing Intern at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, LLP in the Tribal Gaming and Regulatory Group. She also participated in the National Native American Law Student Association (NNALSA) Moot Court Competition where she and her partner made it to the “Sweet 16” round.

Autumn graduated from Yale with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. Before entering law school, she was an elementary school teacher on the Rosebud Indian Reservation and Navajo Nation. Autumn is dedicated to learning more about Federal Indian Law and working within and for Native communities. She will be working in our Boulder office this summer and we are excited to announce she is the 2022 Siletz Winner this year!
