Dane Beaulieu is a first-generation law student and rising 3L at the University of Iowa College of Law. He is originally from Powder Springs, Georgia by way of Detroit, Michigan, and is a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. He went to the University of Georgia for undergrad where he got his B.B.A. in Finance as well as a certificate in Legal Studies.  

Dane currently serve as the President of the Native American Law Students Association for Iowa Law and is working in the Law and Policy as well as the Immigration Clinic. This past summer, he worked as a summer law clerk at the Meskwaki Tribal Court in Tama, Iowa through the Iowa Children’s Justice Fellowship, and hopes to continue working in Federal Indian Law moving forward.
