It’s another busy week for NARF staff! This week several NARF staff members will travel to Oklahoma City for the Sovereignty Symposium XXVIII, presented by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and other sponsors. NARF Executive Director John Echohawk will present on the Repatriation and Legislating Respect in the Law panel. NARF Staff Attorney Melody McCoy will present on the Sovereignty and Education panel while Staff Attorney Brett Lee Shelton will present on the Truth and Reconciliation panel that will discuss boarding schools. In addition, former NARF Board Member Justice Barbara Smith of the Chickasaw Nation Supreme Court will present on the Juvenile Justice Issues panel.
