NARF Staff Attorneys Natalie Landreth and Erin Dougherty have recently published an article in the American Indian Law Review on “The Use of the Alaskan Native Claims Settlement Act to Justify Disparate Treatment of Alaska’s Tribes.”
The article discusses the context that surrounded the passage of ANCSA, the Act’s subsequent interpretation and implementation, and Alaska tribal jurisdiction.
If you need help locating a copy of the article, please contact the National Indian Law Library (NILL). NILL serves the public by assisting with Indian law-related information needs. Visit the NILL website to submit research questions to the library staff.
