This Indigenous Peoples Day, we invite you to acknowledge the ongoing fight for equal access to voting and having our voices heard. Unfortunately, Native Americans voters must push back every day against structural barriers and unfair tactics that seek to restrict our freedom to vote. NARF’s Native Voices, Native Vote video series shares stories from Native voters and Tribal leaders across the country fighting for their voice.

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we are releasing The Every Day Fight for Voting Rights in North Dakota, the third video in the Native Voices, Native Vote series. The video focuses attention on North Dakota, where voter ID laws and gerrymandering undermine Native power. The struggle is laid clear in North Dakota.

Join NARF, Tribal Nations, and the tireless Native advocates who fight every day. Watch the video to hear more about the contemporary challenges to voting rights—why we fight and how we win.

Hear the stories and join us in the fight—donate to NARF today and stand up to protect Native American voting rights.
