In 2023, the American Indian Ritual Object Repatriation Foundation shuttered its website and donated its collection of online resources to the Native American Rights Fund. Those resources now are available at the National Indian Law Library’s (NILL) research guide on repatriation and reburial.
On that page, you can find the Foundation’s 1997 publication, Mending the Circle, which outlines the 1990 Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act and information about the repatriation process, along with a collection of curated resources related to repatriation efforts and regulations.
